Can, courtesy of SHIG – thanks! Dirty straw colored pour with a moderate haze and small white head which dissipates rather quickly. Smells rather sweet; lager malt, grass, corn syrup. The taste is… well… unexpected. A blend of sweet lager and grapes with a fizzy crispness resembles a chardonnay spritzer. It fades away into a sweet finish that sort lingers with the grape/chardonnay taste. Odd. Unfortunately I didn’t find this to be very refreshing, but for reasons I cannot explain that didn’t stop me from polishing off the can. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Can thanks to good friends moving to Alaska: Poured a clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sour grain. Taste is a nice grain and popcorn. Light wet finish. Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 15, 2013
Pours a clear light pale yellow with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of corn, pale malts and light hops. Taste is clean and crisp with corn, pale malts and a crisp bitterness on the finish. Very smooth easy drinking pale lager. blankboy (7833) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 3, 2012
Bottle [341ml]. Pours a clear pale gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Mild aroma of tropical fruit, caramel malt, honey and some breadiness. Nice, for the style, flavour of caramel malt, light spice, honey, tropical fruit and very light hops. Average to medium bodied. A decent Lager, it’s O.K. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 5, 2012

341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles very quickly leaving virtually nothing for lacing. Aroma is cereal grain and herbal hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a lingering herbal hoppy bitterness. Easy drinking with a light body and good carbonation. Certainly not the best this brewery has to offer, just did nothing for me.

12oz bottle thanks to chswimmer. Pours a nice clear golden-yellow color with a lasting white head. Aroma is apple juice, white wine, and sweet malt. The flavor is on the sweeter side but not bad for the style. Sweet pale malt, appley acetaldehyde, and chardonnay on the finish. The palate is not very dry or clean. Medium-light bodied with average carbonation level. Not too impressive, but good for the style I guess. Lady_Bastet (113) - Burlington, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 12, 2010
Sampler at Yukon Brewering. Poured very pale yellow...not an attractive colour IMHO. Minimal head. Thin palate with a mild aroma of hops. Minimal carbonation. Notes of fruit and mild hops in the taste with a soft finish that had no taste at all...a bit of an oddity...wouldn’t have it again. If you do try something from this brewery, make sure it is the Ice Fog IPA or the Cranberry Wheat Heffeweizen. bulldogops (2740) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 22, 2010 Bottle. 5%. 1st up in the Yukon Taster pack. Unimpressive pale yellow pour with a weak white foam that fades quickly. Aroma is corn, grasses, sweet malts. Taste is bland, corn and grains with a lingering sweetness into a smooth, and rather refreshing finish. Something here is appealing... All in all, a light crisp lager. ***Re-review on next purchace*** I’ve had this beer a ton of times and it once was on my rotation of beers purchaced. There may have been something wrong with my bottle, or it could’ve been old, or they’ve lost the quality at which this used to be brewed. Pale yellow beer, big white rocky head foamed up quickly and disappeard just as quick. No lacing, only a ring of foam. Weak on colour. Lots of aromas to pick from, but it’s just very appealing to me today. Sweet, dry, pinapple, honey??. A strong sweet cirtus aroma hangs around. Not how it should smell, but interesting. It’s refreshing, but tastes wrong. Tastes cheap, weak, thin with an odd sour bitterness...corn too? Mouthfeel is plain with a decent ammount of carbs. Something has gone wrong here, so more bottles are in order, because this should be a quality lager. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 5, 2009
Clean motor oil is the look of this beer, if you held a pint of this up against a pint of clean motor oil the only way you could tell the difference is by the big rocky beige head on it that goes away fast, except for a lingering skiff of bubbles formed by constant carbonation coming from the bottom of the glass. Lots of hops in the aroma, caramel, and banana good strong smell but not offensive, grapefruit and something that reminds me of peanuts mixed feet make up the rest of this deliciously complex smell. Wow this taste totally reminds me of a peanut butter banana sandwich, very clean hop presence but not so much it misses the style, amazing taste. Wow so malty, so good, the after taste is a creamy honey, and beer had a great medium body with good carbonation. For a lager this was amazing, very drinkable and refreshing, and for the relatively cheap price you get a awesome quality beer the you can chug back with out sacrificing quality or taste. Yukon is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries.
