0.75 l corked bottle from Bierpost, now about three years old. Clear, luscious golden yellow with a medium large, creamy, almost stable, tan to white head. Yeasty-spicy aroma of coriander, vanilla, citrus, apricot jam and hints of cinnamon. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy taste of vanilla, coriander, coconut, citrus, apricot jam and hints of cinnamon, followed by a long, slightly bitter, gently warming, alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very spicy, great mouthfeel. The alcohol is noticable but not yet disturbing, may have been different right after bottling. Suggests christmas spices with a gently fruity and yeasty touch, providing an almost full body. Very good!

Pours a hazy honey color with a light tan head. The semi is Juicy Fruit gum with fruit and toasted malt, some herbs. The taste is pretty much as it smells with some crisp dryness and yeast at the end. Light/medium body with fine carbonation.

Pours a really nice tan color with a fluffy white head that lasts throughout with little bubbles. Sweet, sugary and boozy

The cork shot hard, and I’m glad I moved out of the way. This beer is about what you’d expect, malt sweetness cut by yeast spiciness, hops are very faint in the background.

alethol (133) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 29, 2015
Hazy golden beer. Fruity, sweet, lemony aromas. Taste is of citrus, some banana, balanced bitterness. Full bodied and somwhat boozy. Overall very nice.

Achel (488) - Ioannina, GREECE - JUN 22, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2015 Opened with a good strong effusion of gas. Pours hazy dark gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma of malt and slightly spicy hop. Full bodied, thinning as the carb leaves. Flavor is quite floral with light malt and some standard Belgian herb/spice. And fruity. Rather sophisticated and tasty.
