Really nice!! Pours light orange initial frothy head that sticks for a while minimal lacing. Nose is is candy and fruit. Notes of apricot, floral, honey, cereal, lemon. Taste medium sweet med/light bitter. Full sticky body with lively carbonation and an bitter finish that lasts a long time. Very drinkable for the alc level.

Pours slightly murky gold into my Stella tulip. Head is massive and rocky, receding slowly and leaving chunky lacing. Nose is Belgian yeast, prominent coriander, faint pie spice, banana notes, light pale malt, floral hops. Palate is full, carbonation medium for the mouthfeel. Very creamy and sticky. Honey, pear, Jonathan apple, cardamom, white pepper. Boozy finish. Interesting.

May 25, 2014. 750mL bottle from LCBO, purchased some time ago (maybe 8 months?). Big white fluffy head. Opaque yellow colour. Smells like Chimay :). Aroma a bit weak, but got more prominent as it warmed. Probably my least favourite from Chimay.

Bottle from a friend at a bar...hee hee. Pours a golden yellow with a thick white head. Lots of carbonation and some lacing in snifter. Aroma is light fruits like apple, pear, white grapes, and possibly peaches? The taste was more mild than I was expecting with sweet light fruits, booze, mild malt balance, and heavy carbonation. Clean finish, rather dry. I was expecting a little more flavor from Chimay, but certainly not a bad beer.

Bottle at my mate Matt’s. poured a lightly hazy pale gold with a thin to medium white head. Aroma is yeasty and sugary, some citrus, earthy malts. Flavour is a slightt let down at first but it got better. Some citrus, spice. Ok.

Poured at tasting, a slightly hazy amber, with white head. Lively Co2. The aroma is yeast, banana and cloves. Taste is yeasty, banana, brown sugar a little lemon. In the finish I get some honey and pepper but it is alcohol heavy. Med bodied and dry. Very nice.
