Bottle, Gent, Trappistenhuis, May 2005. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), lightly yeasty (mold). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, velvety/creamy texture, lively carbonation. Simple and rather bland Belgian amber.

[Bottle (330ml)] Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. Some lacing. Aroma of fruity Belgian yeast, light herbs, some breadiness and light hops. Flavour of Belgian yeast, light herbs, very light hops and bready malt in the back. Medium bodied. Mild but pleasant -- a well made Belgian Ale.

Bottle from unknown place. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Has some nice orange peel and coriander type notes on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Solid beer.

Lekker licht biertje, smaak is: fruitige esters, zoals banaan. Ook proef je wat bubblegum in de achtergrond, verder wat gras achtigs en wat mout.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy light brown with big and foamy white head. Aroma is kind of fruity/herbal with yeast and malts. Taste has bitter yeast, herbs and citrus. Weak for Chimay but still a solid beer.

Pours a hazy yellow orange color with ample white head. Aroma of coriander, citrus, grains, clove, and a hint of banana. Flavors were light grainy malts, coriander, banana, bubble gum, and a hint of bitterness. Light body, silky soft mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Very good.

Where and how: Bottle @ home from gift
Aroma Belgian, dry, floral with sweeter side to it, slight mineral hints presented.
Appearance :
Top: medium plus, semi dense off white top, average longevity. No lace , no rings.
Base: clear, straw gold
Palate : thinner bodied, frisky but with fine beading, a tad oily texture. Average finish.
Taste: clean, subtle Belgian ale. I like its balance with meadow floral feel. Plenty of chamomile in here. Finish hinted with mint.

ContemplateBeer (2040) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 23, 2016
Pictured bottle from Louisville Beer Store; shared three ways. Aroma: Moderate orange peel; lighter coriander and herbal lozenge. Appearance: Hazy dishwater gold with a bubbly white head that settles into a ring. Flavor: Orange peel and coriander at the fore with herbal hops coming in thereafter; the finish remains citrusy and off-dry. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Not really a big fan; my wife compared it to "Old lady Avon perfume." Nothing really off-putting to me, but nothing that compels me to continue imbibing, either.
