Big roasty flavor on this one. Nose is mostly coffee and nutty with hints of smokyness without getting overwhelming. Flavor follows through nicely with a nice thick body. Not a fan of porter's in general, that being said, a rather nice and tasty offering from Chios Microbrewery

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2017 Dejlig røgduft med ristet malt. Rolig og i balance. Virkelig lige til og rar at drikke. Røgen overtager ikke.

15.02.2014, 0,33l bottle sampled @ RBNG14:
Small slightly brown shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, sugar, coffee, puffed rice, hay, licorice, chocolate. Taste is watery and roasted, dark malts, coffee, roasted grain, chocolate, hay, puffed rice. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2017 Only craft beer in an Athens airport artisanal foods shop. Currently I can't see what I'm typing because this app is beta-ish. Bear with me. Sweetish, medium-roasty, mild smoke, black with sturdy tan foam, well put together, just the thing for killing time waiting for a shuttle to the portside hotel.

Smell of dark chocolate and sweet smoke. Soft and welcoming taste. Dark and roasted malt, coffee and a very pleasant smokiness. Good one.

dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is roasty, dark chocolate, coffee, malt. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light bitter. The smoke comes out in the palate fairly softly with toffee and fudge. Fairly thick mouthfeel. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Nice one!
