Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours hazy pale golden with a small frothy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and sour with bananas, dark grapes, juiocy ripe oranges and lemons, white bread, peppery dry wood and hay. Taste is tiny sweet, sour and salty with white bread, rock salt, cloves, lemon juice, hay, dry soil and hints of rose pepper. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light bodied. Finish is sour, tart and tiny salty with lemon juice, wood, lemon zest, crackers, hay and rose pepper. A nice surprise. jkwalking05 (4731) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 3, 2011

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival. Hazy yellow liquid with small to medium white head .Aroma of grain, coriander, salt, lacto and a bit fruit. Taste is dry and light to medium sour with some salt, lacto and spices. Light bodied with light to medium carbonation. Cool! reggiedunlop (3718) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 19, 2012
pours a hazy, ruddy yellow/amber with a thick white head. Aroma is pretty much like a lightly soured pilsner...crisp hoppiness...citrus...with mild soapy notes, grassy with light maltiness. Flavor is much more sour than the aroma suggests...acidic and lemony with some musty funk...wheaty. Mouthfeel is light and silky with a tart dry finish. Interesting and tasty!

The beer is transparent and light orange colored, with a half inch of white head. The aroma offers white grape juice, grape skins, white wine, spice. The flavor resembles ocean water. Salty and earthy. Lingering sea salt in the finish. A bit of a puckering sensation in the cheeks. Very bold flavor. Definitely recognizable as a gose right off the bat. A very good example of the style, I would definitely have this again.

750 ml. bottle. Shared with multiple others at brew club, thanks to Chuck. Pours a minimal white head, over a cloudy, yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is citrus (lime), salt....taste is moderately sour, with lime tones, sweat, salt, coriander....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is my first tasting of this very different style. It almost has some of the qualities of a margarita with the salt, citrus combination, but there are other more complex tones that are hard to describe. I’ll try it again if I can find it. bottle... pours a murky copper gold, a bit of copper, off white lasting head... the aroma is lots of coriander, a bit sweet, salt, and tart, not bad... the taste is surprisingly good for a Oklahoma gose, a bit of too much salt that would make it tough to drink the whole bottle your self, but I was impressed umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUN 13, 2015

750ml c&c bottle shared by jcwatts. Sorry for hiding your turkey meatballs on you John. Pours a hazy gold color with almost no head. Aroma of funk, lemon citrus, and hints of herbal tea. Taste of sour acidic lemons, salt, and sour white grapes.
