Thanks to drabmuh for bringing this bottle to compare with the Cascade Winter Gose. Served in a SAVOR wine glass. _angst_ (5009) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2012
The pour yields a medium golden brew with a nice fizzy white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose carries a good dosing of coriander and citrus with a bit of salt in the background. The flavor adds quite a bit of salt, though doesn’t take it over the top. Nice coriander and spice plus some orange peel. Light, crisp body with a faint acidity. Nicely done.
Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours hazy pale golden with a small frothy offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and sour with bananas, dark grapes, juiocy ripe oranges and lemons, white bread, peppery dry wood and hay. Taste is tiny sweet, sour and salty with white bread, rock salt, cloves, lemon juice, hay, dry soil and hints of rose pepper. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light bodied. Finish is sour, tart and tiny salty with lemon juice, wood, lemon zest, crackers, hay and rose pepper. A nice surprise. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 3, 2011

750 ml. bottle. Shared with multiple others at brew club, thanks to Chuck. Pours a minimal white head, over a cloudy, yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is citrus (lime), salt....taste is moderately sour, with lime tones, sweat, salt, coriander....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is my first tasting of this very different style. It almost has some of the qualities of a margarita with the salt, citrus combination, but there are other more complex tones that are hard to describe. I’ll try it again if I can find it. The beer is transparent and light orange colored, with a half inch of white head. The aroma offers white grape juice, grape skins, white wine, spice. The flavor resembles ocean water. Salty and earthy. Lingering sea salt in the finish. A bit of a puckering sensation in the cheeks. Very bold flavor. Definitely recognizable as a gose right off the bat. A very good example of the style, I would definitely have this again.

pours a hazy, ruddy yellow/amber with a thick white head. Aroma is pretty much like a lightly soured pilsner...crisp hoppiness...citrus...with mild soapy notes, grassy with light maltiness. Flavor is much more sour than the aroma suggests...acidic and lemony with some musty funk...wheaty. Mouthfeel is light and silky with a tart dry finish. Interesting and tasty! jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Pours a hazy gold with no head. Aroma of sour wheat and salt. Taste is sour wheat, salt and citrus. Not bad

bottle... pours a murky copper gold, a bit of copper, off white lasting head... the aroma is lots of coriander, a bit sweet, salt, and tart, not bad... the taste is surprisingly good for a Oklahoma gose, a bit of too much salt that would make it tough to drink the whole bottle your self, but I was impressed
