COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The German city of Leipzig is home to one of the world’s most unusual styles: Gose (pronounced "goes-ah"), a tart wheat brew. Despite a centuries old lineage, this eclectic brew recently faced extinction. We pay tribute to this style’s rich history by using premium German pilsner malt, wheat, a dash of coriander and salt. The sourness and dry finish are the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Cheers, Michael Lalli

Pour is a light hazy Yellow with bubbly quickly diminishing head. Smells like salty watery lemonade. Tastes like a chlorinated salt water pool that a bunch of small bladdered well hydrated lemons have been swimming in all day. Plus sprinkles of Chinese five spice and white pepper.

bottle... pours a murky copper gold, a bit of copper, off white lasting head... the aroma is lots of coriander, a bit sweet, salt, and tart, not bad... the taste is surprisingly good for a Oklahoma gose, a bit of too much salt that would make it tough to drink the whole bottle your self, but I was impressed

750 ml. bottle. Shared with multiple others at brew club, thanks to Chuck. Pours a minimal white head, over a cloudy, yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is citrus (lime), salt....taste is moderately sour, with lime tones, sweat, salt, coriander....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is my first tasting of this very different style. It almost has some of the qualities of a margarita with the salt, citrus combination, but there are other more complex tones that are hard to describe. I’ll try it again if I can find it. Very excited to see this sitting on the table, so when i picked it up to read the back label- i was told by the owner to pop it and take the first pour, so i did! .. . pours a lightly bubbled light gold .. . good propa foam, lacing is a beast .. . light light dough, hay, and an old pretzel .. . a touch muddled and middle of the road for a gose, some might call it balanced but i like my gose’s doughier or tarter .. . . Somebody stole my pants.

Into a snifter. Cloudy orange color with a finger of head that is quickly gone. It smells like a German Riesling wine. The coriander comes through and a little banana. Interesting taste. Light flavor upfront, bubbly, salty and sour lemon (lots). Very sour. It kinda grows on you or at least on me. Higher carbonation and lighter body. A little sticky texture. They created a beer that was almost lost... maybe there was a reason for it not being popular. Absolutely worth finding and trying though.
