Golden amber pour into thick frothy head that quickly dissipates into minimal lacing and a small pool of swirling foam as carbonated bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass. Aroma of malt and citrus. Initial flavor of malty biscuit and toasted wheat bread that fades into sweet yet subdued peppery finish.
Bottle sample from backlog notes. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have hay, dry bread, mild floral notes, apple and pear fruit character, mild peppery spice, some mild funk and earthy notes at the finish. Notes from 12-29-2010 -- From the bottle. Pours a pretty gold with little to no head. Aroma is light sweet no hop scent. Great malty flavor with a mild sweetness, earthy hop notes and a slight hint of yeast. Light body, great carbonation. The beer pours decent with a nice hazy straw color to it with a nice white foamy head and good lacing on the glass. The smell is okay with a mild spicey smell (corriander maybe little white pepper) and a mildly bitter citrus and bready scent. The taste is okay with another mild blend of spice and citrus that seems to dissapte quickly into a bready flavor. The mouthfeel is okay as the beer is decently carbonated but does leave much else around. Overall, its an okay saison but nothing I would go searching for, I can find better saisons locally that will do a better job. Bottle pours clear caramel with thin white head that dissipates. Nose is yeast pizza dough with some spiced peppery notes. Taste is like eating bread dough- but I kinda dig it!

A - Pours a hazy burnt orange with 2 fingers of off-white head. The head retains quite well and forms a solid center of super tight bubbles while leaving 3D patterns of lace.
S - Lots of bright green fruits. Tart green apples, grapes, pears, as well as apricots, peaches,oranges and a hint of banana. Coriander and clove along with other spices mixes with doughy and dusty yeast. Has an underlying mineral note.
T - A sweet fruity malt base with some spicy pepper up front. The fruits roll in and have more of a dense sugary character than the nose. Apples stand out the most and are more pronounced toward the end. The musty yeast is evident from front to back. The spices are bold and blend with the hops to turn earthy towards the finish. Finishes on the sweet side.
M - Slightly heavy on the body for a Saison. Defiantly soft and creamy.
A very good stab at the style. This was better than expected. The yeast could have been a little funkier and it could be dryer. But other than that I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent fruit profile. I’ll defiantly pick this one up again.

Pours hazy copper with white head. Aroma citrus, cheese, and caramel. Taste follows nose with a slight wheat background.
