Sample at SBWF 2015. Almost clear light amber with a white head. Mild with citrus, malt, some caramel and hints of hay. The body was on the light side and the finish fairly bitter.

Rich copper coloured body with a nice single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light hops, some good rich malt and a lot of caramel and sugars on the finish. Medium-bodied; Strong malt body with a light flavour of english and low alpha acid hops and a touch of sugars near the finish. Aftertaste shows some nice hops, a touch of malt and some subdued herbal notes. Overall, a nice pale with a good flavour and a rich malt flavour that shows more than the hops. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Switzer’s Wine & Spirits in Norman, Oklahoma on 13-September-2014 for US$1,99 sampled a few minutes later at a tailgate in Norman - Thanks Phil (haddon90)!

bytemesis (9240) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 4, 2014
Bottle. Pours clear butterscotch with a medium white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving good lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel, perfume, oranges. Flavor is light sweet and light bitter, perfumy, floral, orange blossoms - very different and unexpected. Light body, high carbonation. Points for novelty, but in the end it did not come together for me.

jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a solid 3 fingers of thick white head. Aroma of citrus and spruce. Taste is heavily bitter. Citrus at first, then dominated by pine and grapefruit. Full bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, very good. Just wish I had a couple more bottles. I’ll definitely be looking for more from these guys.

DrewFace (970) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 11, 2014
Pours a mostly clear deep amber color with large foamy, rocky off white head. Big danky and earthy hop aroma, pale malt, caramel malt notes. More caramel malt character in the flavor, semisweet, hops present more earthy and danky, mild bitterness in the finish.

Good retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus, pine and chocolate. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel and pine. Bitter/piney aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
