Dark black pour into thick pillowy tan head that slowly dissipates into heavy melting lacing. Aroma of roasted chocolate malt and hop. Initial flavor of dark roasted breakfast blend coffee, chocolate malt, and bitter hop. Initial flavor of dark roast that is quickly subdued by the hoppy bitterness that fades into a creamy to oily bitter finish. Cybercat (5745) - Georgia, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Smoky aroma has a strong woody hoppy component, rather like dry hay, and hints of molasses and licorice. It pours a deep sable with a fine-bubbled tan head that leaves good lacing. Smoky flavor has woody hops, molasses, semi-sweet chocolate, licorice and coffee notes of varying strength. Firm, smooth body has a good ragged fizz. Very enjoyable, will definitely take the edge off the winter chill! yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - APR 6, 2013

A - Reddish/brown head on top of motor oil black body.
S - Roasted espresso, pine and dried grapefruit rind, cocoa,
T - Follows the nose with fresh roasted espresso, roasted malts, green pine needles, cocoa. Citrus hops blast in on the finish to create a very fresh and clean bitterness.
M - Medium body with moderate tight carbonation.
Very focused flavors. The espresso flavor really stands out as fresh and high end tasting. The citrus and cocoa play off each other very well. The end result is a fantastic stout. Just did a blind taste test with this and 2 other very good stouts.
