Pours a dark brown almost black with tan head. Roasted malt, nuts, and some light cocoa on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a slightly sweet note. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Pours very dark brown with two fingers of tan head. Aroma is hoppy rather than roasty. Flavor also is hoppy and bitter with some mild roastiness on the finish. Some dark chocolate also. Not quite to style but a decent beer. Medium to lighter bodied. Nice lacing on the glass. robbeebobby (55) - newark, Arkansas, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Pours a dark brown/black with a small tan head. The aroma is like a dark burnt malt mixed with fruits. The taste is almost like a burnt American pale ale but blander with bitterness. There is medium carbonation and overall not that great of a stout.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has a combination of strong roasted malts and dark grains backed by chocolate and a touch of smoke. Flavor is similar with roasted malts and dark grains throughout with just a hint of smoke in the finish. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Black with a tan head. The aroma is full of smoke, chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is more of the same. The roasted malt and chocolate notes stand out the most but there is also some light smoke. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JUL 10, 2013
