Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, roasted, light bread, chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, chocolate notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottled. A dark nut-brown beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, metal, malt, and straw, leading to a dry light metallic finish. The body is thin. Hazy mahogany color; small head. Light aroma, straws. Light body, sweetish caramel flavor, but with the kind given by sweeteners; no bitterness. Poor.
