Strong fresh floral hop aroma (saaz?), low grainy-sweet malt aroma, DMS?, no detectable esters. No off aromas. Persistent white head that leaves lace. Clear but not brilliant gold color. Initial sweet flavor with soft bitterness coming immediately after. Excellent balance hoppy/ malty. Medium spicy hop flavor, and medium pils malt flavor with background melanoidins. Medium dry finish and good resiny aftertaste. Apparently soft water. Medium-light body with optimal carbonation. No astringency and no alcohol apparent. Extremely drinkable and flavorful pils in its prime. One of the best I had. dEM1972 (53) - , Illinois, USA - JUL 5, 2008
Has a fabulous aroma to it, I am getting apricots somehow, and a definite roasted scent, the smell is quite fabulous; golden brown in colour; first taste is rather a full on blow, I get the apricots again, that roasted flavour comes at you and then the bitterness kicks in, not over powering but you can certainly tell it has a great flavour, quite a presence; after taste isn’t too bad, you still get the bitterness but not too much. rozsoma (1098) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - FEB 5, 2010
UPDATED: APR 1, 2010 Light aroma of floral hops and herbs. Fizzy mostly diminishing white head, but nice deep golden body . Dry bitterness, good thick body for a pilsner is so rare. Hops are also dominating the flavour.Great pils. A bit too dry for my palate. My mouth run dry, so i have to take another one. Grzesiek79 (4362) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 21, 2012

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2009 Bottled 50cl. It pours a golden beer with a whitish, long remaining head. I was impressed by the nose straight away. Amazingly nice, biscuity with hints of pineapple, just a wonderful hop aroma, lots of hay with some crisp caramel and a touch of sorbet. Very toasty. The taste was slightly oily showing amazing features again: Pineapple, sorbet, a hint of caramel withouth being out of place or unenjoyable. An extremly smooth beer possessing all the qualities of a Bohemian Pilsener. It leaves a beautiful lacing. A beer I will have again and again... The finish is gentle and smooth, rather biscuity with a decent amount of saaz hops. An extremely nice pils.

Fresh with some nice grassy hops & hints of citrus plus medium strength lager malts, biscuit & sweetness. Hops with some spice making an appearance as well. Quite a lively one on the nose with a good balance & a pleasantly sweet aroma throughout.
Bright amber with with a 2-fingers tall head that holds well initially & looks creamy with some nice lacing on the sides & a clear body.
Sweet malts, biscuit & bread come through with the grassy hops from the nose. Citrus as well & spice from the Saaz hops & more malty than I was expecting.
Smooth with a medium body & a sweet mouthfeel that almost seemed creamy. The citrus left a tickling tang on the tongue & the beer was well-carbonated, crisp & moderately bitter towards the end.
Another cracking Czech beer. This was was thicker than I was expecting, with a great feel to it that bordered on creamy. The beer was very easy to drink and is again another that is up there with the best that the style has to offer.
Golden coloured. Malty with soft pleasant hop aroma, oily and aromatic. A wonderful Czechish style pils. Daredevil (76) - Bern, SWITZERLAND - AUG 15, 2006
in lager I tend to "go Czech", meaning the best lagers are generally Czech brews (with few exceptions) ... this is partly due to Saaz hops (which seem to be best for lager) and the craft of Czech brewers (Czech Rep. has the highest consumption of beer per capita and brewing is a serious matter there)
This brew definitely confirms the above rule ... it has the Czech lager trademark bitterness paired with a honeyed fruitiness usually not around in a classic lager ... armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 30, 2010

Classic lager appearance with a golden body and a medium, delicious, fine and froathy white head that diminishes slowly with laces on the glass. Fine bready malt based sourish aroma, flowery hops. Smooth mouthfeel, rich body. Malt based flavor with mild carbonation, fine character of bottom-fermentation, nice flowery hop flavor. Complex palate, fine hoppy-malty aftertaste. One of the best lager what i’ve ever tasted!
Tükrösen tiszta,sötétebb aranysárga színű sör amin hósipkaként fekszik egy fehér,vastag buborékos hab,ami lassan elolvad szép csipke függönyt hagyva a pohár falán.
