Bottle 750ml. @ UK-SCO Tasting in Ulfborg.
[ Courtesy of Dedollewaitor ]. [ Vintage BBF 04-2003 ]. Hazy - murky medium grey amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white grey head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, vintage, light to moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, vintage. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
The aroma is fresh, grassy, and spicy. The color is a clear amber and it has a beutiful white head. The flavor is sweet, malty, and spicy. It ends on a dry grassy and hoppy note. The body is somewhat thin - must be because of the low ABV by Belgian standards. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 26, 2008
Bottled, 1999 vintage. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is really fruity along with some toffee and mild acidic notes. Also quite big hops notable. Flavour is very much toffee (fudge) along with some mild grassyness and spices. Also quite flowery notes. Smooth and wellaged. Travlr (26433) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 27, 2011

Bottled (1999 vintage) at Man in the Moon, Stockholm Lightly hazy amber, rich head. Surprisingly fresh floral hop aroma. Dry and very light bodied. Very light vanilla- and crackr-like malt, briefly touched by oxidized flavours of mustard and paper. Finishes with some grassy/spicy hop bitterness. Given it’s low gravity it has helf up astoningly well. Would stil be a good summer beer. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2005
(Bottle 75 cl) A winter beer?? No this is a "zomerbier" a summer beer as the back label states. Hazy, orange beer with a creamy head. Very fresh, scented nose. Light body and incredibly dry, almost like an ice beer! Only a slight bitterness in the finish. A very unusual Chouffe, but a great quencher. Brewed with barley, wheat and rye. 050599 Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 2, 2001
I will admit that my recollections of this beer are not what they should be (stupid Amsterdam), but I do recall that it looked cool, had a refreshing, vibrant taste, and that I really enjoyed it. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 30, 2013
Hazy amber pour with a white head. Banana, bread, and toasted malt. Nice pear, apple, and some hints of spice and yeast. Banana and bread flavor, some yeast, and a touch of spice. Very heavy on the apple and pear, sort of cidery. Kind of bland, but not bad. Dedollewaitor (16545) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 11, 2011
75cl Bottle. Vintage 2000. Pours unclear amber with a creamy white head. Nose is sweet malty. Caramel and fruit with a vague oxidized note. Flavor is yeast, caramel and fruit with a good deal of carbonation left. Holding up pretty well after 11 years only being 4,5%.
