Draft in snifter. Poured hazy amber color with medium off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium tart fruit and yeast aroma. Medium body with a tingly texture and soft carbonation. Medium tart & sour flavor with a medium bitter & sour finish of moderate duration. Soft brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 13, 2004
(750ml) Here I sit in my 58 degree house, lacking a working furnace, the temperature 40 degrees outside, with a summer beer in hand. Hazy amber topped by medium beige head -- yeast toward the bottom of the bottle clouds the beer significantly as I continue to pour. Aroma is sweet, floral, peach, pineapple, light caramel. Taste is mild sweet, some lemon, light toffee and caramel, finishing with herbal hops. Light-medium body with some acidity. Quite drinkable -- I went through the entire bottle remarkably quickly. Served on draft at Mekong. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Spicy, yeasty aroma with notes of stone fruits, citrus and lemongrass. The taste is stone fruits, yeast, spices, strawberry and faintly earthy, vegetal notes. Medium bodied. Nice. BeerandBlues2 (13303) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 4, 2005
75 cL bottle, date unknown. This is number 500 and a rare find at that. Plenty of dust had accumulated on the bottle, but that did not dissuade me from purchasing. Pours a cloudy amber with orange hints and a huge off-white rocky head, that does not die easily. Great foamy and sticky lacing throughout. Oak and eathy yeast aroma with a light fruit nose. Sour and yet sweet yeasty flavor, some oak/must with a pleasant berry undertone. Hint of spicy yeast and malt combined near the end. Refreshing with lively carbonation and a dry light to medium bodied palate. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 2, 2001

On tap at Cole’s. Cloudy yellow, lacey. As initially served too cold, it does not improve that much as rises to room temperature. Good drinkability, medium mouthfeel, very saison yeasty aroma. Malted, but not very complex. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

Draft at Craft. Poured dark straw with nose of funky yeasty malts, hops, florals. Tasted yeasty malty, with mild funk, pronounced hopcitrus, and mild fruit in the finish. Fin (10536) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2011
Bottle at Jan & Charlotte’s tasting, Ulfborg, Denmark 09.04.11 cheers Jan & Charlotte 2000 vintage courtesy of Mads - Dedollewaitor, cheers Mads. Pours quite hazy, in fact very hazy, its more a light brown colour than amber with very little head. Touch of the farmhouse quality about this, tangy, fruity and holding up very well despite its years and relatively low abv. Decent mouthfeel, a little spiciness showing. Nice beer. Tap at Barley Johns in New Brighton, MN. Very pale yellow pour with a clingy white head. Floral and yeasty aroma. Fruity, yeast, and floral/spice on taste. Very enjoyable.
