COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
CHOUFFE BOK 6666 is a seasonal beer brewed especially for the Netherlands. The "Bok" beers traditionally appear on the Dutch market at the end of September. CHOUFFE BOK 6666 stands out thanks to its coppery robe, its fresh, fruity nose and a pleasant roundness in the mouth, ending with a hint of bitterness.

Draft at In De Wildeman. Dark brown with a big tan head. Aroma of big malt, caramel and lighter overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Not impressed. Expected more from d’Achouffe. Nice clear deep red-brown with medium to high carbonation. Head dissappear immediately. Body is a bit watery. Flavor is mostly malts, caramel and some cloves. It seems like there were no roasted malts involved. Lacks depth. Most Dutch fall season boks available at my local supermarket are better than this.

Poors a light creamy head, which quickly disappears. Quite dark ruby appearance. Smell of dried dark fruits, Belgian yeast. Taste is a bit more flat then aroma, there for a bit disappointing. Otherwise a nice balanced Bok. Will drink again.

Weinig koolzuur, licht bitter gehopt, iets waterig. Afdronk is zoet en iets plakkerig. Redelijke Bock.

Chestnut brown colour with beige a bit yellowish head. Aroma is malty, spicy and Belgian yeast (banana). Taste is soft en spicy and when the beer is cold, a lot of the subtle notes are hidden and the taste is then a bit watery.

Pours a deep clear amber on tap with thick fluffy tan head that leaves good lace. Aroma of sweet dark maltiness and mild fruity yeast. Taste follows, hints of dark burnt sugar and light yeast. Solid bock.
