CHOUFFE BOK 6666 is a seasonal beer brewed especially for the Netherlands. The "Bok" beers traditionally appear on the Dutch market at the end of September. CHOUFFE BOK 6666 stands out thanks to its coppery robe, its fresh, fruity nose and a pleasant roundness in the mouth, ending with a hint of bitterness.

Bottle 75cl. @ [ Back2Bock Tasting ].
[ As my rating #6666 ;o) ]. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, mesk, molasses, burnt plastic notes, moderate hoppy, grass, spicy, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081115]

75 cL bottle, joint trade with MiP with BierKönig. Pours clear and golden amber with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Dry malty and slight yeasty aroma. Mild spiced and yeasty flavoured. Holds a mild roasted malt note. Light bitter and vague acidic note. Mild fruity note. Holds an acidic and malty roasted finish.

Bottled. Thanks jbrus!. Reddish amber colour, beige creamy big head. Aroma is caramel, some mild alcohol, hops and yeast. Flavour is the same along with quite strong notes of juniper. Close to normal Chouffe in many ways, but this one has a bit more complexity in my opinion.

[Bottled, thanks BierKönig!. Rating #6666] Muddy reddish brown. Lightly lactic with dusty cherries and coffee up front. Medium sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. There’s toffee and red berries, but the dustiness is so severe it feels like licking the inside of a vacuum cleaner. A beer with many positive features and some obvious drawbacks.

(Bottle 75 cl) Dark reddish with a lovely, rich head. Spiced sweetness with a discreet, hoppy finish. Malty and full-bodied, some overripe fruit in there too. Interesting and quite unusual as Bocks are terribly rare in Belgium. The back label contains a weird story about flying goats over The Niagara Falls - don’t ask me any further... According to the label this is 6,666% ABV 181297

Koelschtrinker (21756) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 30, 2011
10/8/8/8/11/8

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2003 Cloudy dark amber color. Nice malt aroma and body, with some liquorice; really harmonious, smoother flavor than Mc Chouffe, and a nice, light aftertaste of Fernet Branca.

Soft and smooth, with light fruit. Extrememly mellow for its size..........

Bottled 75 cl BB 08/2011.
Clear dark amber color, small off-white head. Fruity-hoppy aroma. Achouffe-like hayish fruity hoppy flavor but with added caramel malts. Sweetish, sweeter than rest of Achouffe line. Nice bock, another good one from this top brewery.

Bottle at home, shared with DutchDrebus. Didn’t take many notes unfortunately. Only thing written down is: Pretty nice, but a little weak, not enough body. From the rating I can tell I liked the color and thought the smell was not really nice, but that’s about it.
