COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic Munich-helles style lager with the emphasis on complex malt flavors and low hop character - in accordance with the style. Brewed with 2-row pale and Caramel 60 malts and Saaz and Hallertau hops. This was the first American beer to certifiably pass the Bavarian Reinheitsgebot Purity Law of 1516.

Aubrey’s review is on the money. Dishwater disapating head. Fairly good, straightforward malty nose. Bready malt profile drying out with very little bitterness, as per the style. A bit flabby.

Great Beer, great mouth and throat feel, almost fruity flavor, crisp clean and refreshing, this may be the perfect beer, unless you like heavy hop flavors or those tuity fruity beers.

I simply loved this beer. I wish it was available all over the country!

Very drinkable lager. Would go good with a hamburger and fries.

Interesting and enjoyable, but not too complex. An easy quaff with a wide range of food, but nothing to take home to let your parents taste.

Enjoyable to drink, though it doesn’t seem representative of the style. Quite sweet, to the point where it’s quite odd. Rather hoppy. Pretty good.

Very little aroma. Hops and malt are not very balanced with each other. An average lager.

Had a bottle of this at the TGIF ’Fridays’ restaurant in Cincy. This brew pours a clear sparkling honey amber. The large creamy white head is mostly diminishing with fair lacing. The light clean nose is mostly caramel with some perfumed floral notes. The sweet flavor had hints of citrus, flowers, caramel, with a touch of spice, but was overall typical bland lager fare. The average finish was nutty. The light soft body is creamy and smooth with a slight astringent and alcoholic finish. Very refreshing, would make a good session beer.

Nothing real special. Very sweet malt flavor. Hallertau hops are slightly evident. Not bad, but nothing special.
