Draught @ Christianssand Brygghus, KristiansandBeer5000 (6674) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 21, 2012
Pours murky to cloudy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, peach, rye and citrus. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long peach, citrus fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap @ the brewpub. Murky dark orange body with a rather small, lacing off-white head. Strong and nice aroma of citric hops, pine, ripe pineapple, caramel malt and a little hint of blackcurrant. Flavor is quite sweet malty with lots of citric fruits and a fair dose of fruity bitterness. A fine body with a long aftertaste that leaves you with a feeling of both bitterness and sweetness in the mouth. A nice and tasty IPA with much more than just the hop flavor on a light caramel malt base. It actually becomes a bit too sweet after the second pint IMO, but why stick to the same beer all night? gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle. On tap at the brewpub. amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is candis sugar, hop, peaches, malt. Flavour is sweet, fruit, hop, grapefruit, peach, pine, herbs. There was something in the beer i don´t like, just a hint. Otherwise i would like this one much more. Geokkjer (7643) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 14, 2012

Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of strawberries, grassy hops, citrus and cheesy hops. Flavor is sweet and hoppy with some citrus, strawberries, malt and berries. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nicely dry hopped beer.
On tap at the brewpub. It’s an unclear, dark golden to amber beer. A creamy, finger-thick off-white to beige head sits on top, leaving great lacings as I drink. The aroma is beautiful, with lots of fruitiness from peaches, citrus, pine cones and a touch of watermelon. A little maltiness in the back. A pleasant bitterness in the flavour, along with the sane fruity flavors found in the aroma. Biscuity malts as a backdrop. Full body, super smooth, and pleasantly carbonated. Fruity, bitter finish with some sweetish maltiness. Maybe a bit on the sweet side, but it’s a really fine beer. Certainly one to get shit-faced on, or just have a few of. 120906
