Christoffel Blond is a bottom fermented golden-coloured beer with a full body, a very balanced taste and a beautiful bitterness due to a generous addition of fresh hop during the brewing-process. The aroma is fruity and has a fresh taste with a pleasant, hoppy finish. After the bankruptcy of the Christoffel brewery in early 2013, brewed at Proef in Lochristi

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2017 Bottle from Monster Magnet. One of the Protz 300 ticks I was after. Big thanks. Sweet floral aroma, some citrus. A lot of hay. Medium gold. Foamy white head. Initial muted sweetness before a medium bitterness kicks in and on through to the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Some character to it, some bite. Not giving me any saintly euphoria but would happily drink again.

[email protected] Langebro, Copenhagen (08/07/2017) - pours gold with a white head. Citrus fruity notes of lemon and satsuma, malty and yeasty, nice subtle spicy hop bite, hoppy moderate bitter close. Very tasty.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy gold color. Big rocky off-white head. Fruity citrus malt aroma. Bittersweet malt flavor with notes of lemon peel. Intense bitter finish and aftertaste. From start to finish, there is a dramatic contrast in the texture of flavors. All in all, the citrus overtones are dominant. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit. Very good.

Bottle. Hazy Yellow Gold. Very, very hoppy beer. Grassy, flowery, spicy hops. Very intense bitterness. Bitter grapefruit/lemon citrus. Astringent. Herbal. Underlying malt (buttery, caramelly). Increasingly bitter towards dry lingering finish. Definitely one for hopheads. Liked it! (2008)

From a pals euro trip. Had tight after green ghost from creature comforts and greatly preferred that one. This has light spicy hops, grain, and a touch of sweet and bitter. It’s quality but didn’t really do anything to standout.

Sucha, nieco trawiasta, grapefruitowa Wysycenie wysokie.

A very nice plisner. One of the best I’ve tasted ever. Has a nice bitterness, without tending to an ipa taste. Unfiltered. Fortunately it’s widely available in Holland. Excellent exemple of a pils.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy golden beer with good white creamy head, nose is a bit on exotic fruits and yeast. Aroma is on grain, crisp, floral and orange like hops, medium bitterness and sweetness, like the unfiltered side in pilsner.
