Darkish, hazy orange-amber w/ thin off-white head. Aroma is sweet (caramel) w/ fruity notes. Medium-to-light feel. Flavour is moderately sweet w/ a mild, dry bitterness in the finish.
Pours chestnut dark, beige foam, eminent retention. Nose - malt, bread, liqourrice, woode. Taste is light sweet with a marked alcohol and light bitterness.

The aroma is malty, with notes of roasted malts, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate and some spices.
The taste is full bodied and medium sweet with roasted malts, fruits and caramel and in the end notes of nuts, chocolate and spices.

33cl bottle at home. Pours a dark chestnut colour with a medium creamy beige head. Aroma of burnt sugar, dark malt, slight metallic, cream, slight vanilla. Taste is medium sweet, moderate bitter with a medium dry finish. Notes of burnt sugar, something artificial, slight roasted malt, dates, prunes, candy sugar. 2 liter bottle, shares at/by Joes, 10 years or so past best before date. Brown color, beige head. Aroma’s: sweet, port, dried fruit, also slightly herbal retronasal. Falvor is sweet, sweet fruit, caramel, a bit perfumy. Medium bodied. Aged pretty well.
0.33 l bottle from AH (Sittard), best before September 2018. Clear, very dark reddish brown with a medium large, dense, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, chocolate and nuts. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of chocolate, caramel, nuts and some coffee, followed by a short moderately roasty-bitter, slightly dry finish.
