Christoffel Robertus is a low-fermenting ruby-red beer, brewed in the Mnchener-style. It is a malty, fresh beer with a light sweetness. The typical hopbitterness found in Blond, is very lightly present in Robertus. The use of an extensive amount of selected barley gives Robertus the special malty taste and aroma.

Lacey head, brown/off-red colour, cloudy. Sediment! Yeasty. Light hops, very dry finish. Sweet (fruit?) flavours. I found this rather one dimensional. Damn gift pack!

Murky reddish brown colour. Smell is a little sour, almost spritzy, peaches. Fizzy, sour feel in the mouth. Pretty smooth finish.

Cloudy and I dont find that appealing. I do like the smell. Tiny bit sweet. The taste is not for me however. Not bad, but too complex. Mouthfeel is nice, nice and crisp. Again, not a bad beer, but just not the kind I like.

Orval-looking beer, perhaps a little darker. Malty aroma, with some fruity spiciness in there. Taste is very good. This is a very good beer. I really like the complex malt.

Very nice soft aroma, quiet special, flowery but not pushy, there is some herbal element in it. It was so nice that I could not stop my self from drinking immediately. Flavour as often is not matching the qualities of aroma. Yes it was decent a bit earthy, dark bitterness with roasted set of malts. It feels like they use more than one, much different ingredients that makes interesting effect on aftertaste.

Dark hazy orange, bubbly head. Very nice aroma of fresh fruit, yeast, spice, light chocolate and caramelly malt. Body is citrusy and fruity with yeast being dominant and rounded off by an organic hoppiness similar to the blond. Nice sweet malt backbone. Wow, this is an outstanding, complex lager. Unlike any Ive had, better than the blond, a more reserved hoppiness and a beautiful fruitiness.

pours slightly hazy orangy brown with a big, lacy off white head. fruity, yeasty, cotton candy-ish aroma. low carbo. sweet fruity(strawberry?) malts. hints of alcohol and mint. not as beautifully hoppy as its blond sister, but still very nice

An amber beer with a nice head. It has a slightly fruity aroma and a slightly metallic prickling fruit and spice flavor - nice and intriguing
