Bottled, 330ml flip top from Crack’d Kettle, Amsterdam. Cloudy brown amber with off white head. Rich malts, fruity with a sweetish caramel flavour, there are notes of sultana and sweet damson. There is a hint of hoppiness for just a little balance. Reasonable beer.
From old tasting notes. Cloudy Orange copper color. Huge rocky beige head. Sweet toasted malt nose. Creamy sweetish malt flavor has a wonderful burnt caramel character. Nicely balanced with a dry spicy hop finish. Quite tasty. hauxe (712) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2015
Rated from old notes. Nauseating sweet smell; tasted milder and dryer than expected. Disappointing. Could be lethal if had in quantity. TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 28, 2015
The reddish-brown beer foam fine and smells, not much, but still spicy hops and malt. The flavor is excellent sweet and hoppy with a slight tang of something fruity and a lovely sweet caramel taste. The aftertaste has only a little hop bitterness. Alengrin (5255) - BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2017 One of the very few Viennese lagers in the Low Countries, unfortunately no longer made nowadays. From old and very concise notes: frothy, off-white head on an attractively deep copper robe, malty, nutty, mildly (dried) fruity, soft floral hoppiness in the finish. Kind of a free interpretation of its style, which made it all the more interesting. Beerhunter111 (20356) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAR 21, 2014

Soft amber beer, tastes indeed a bit German. Malty and only mildly sweet. Bit too subtle. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - SEP 22, 2013
