Somewhat hazy dark copper color with small off-white foam head. Aroma is bit weak, bit sweet, not bad. Taste is sweet, fruity, banana. Aftertaste starts sweet, slowly getting more bitter. (Velp 201302) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is caramel malt, toffee, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry woody resin metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. A Dunkel Weizen? A couple of years of age on this one though.

Het bier is behoorlijk zacht kwa smaak. Kleine schuimkraag erop. Verder niks bijzonders.

The beer starts floral, sweetish-smooth. Slightly bitter in the aftertaste, fresh, easy to drink. Not much dark- or roast malt. As it wants to be an "Amber Weizen", it is nice, smooth malty, fresh. Hints of bitterness in the aftertaste, nice round and sweetish malt, fresh, smooth. Nice.

Freshly made uncook dough aroma. Amber with a minimal, quickly disappering foam top. Roasted malt and alcohol. Average on the low end.

33cl fliptop bb12/12, bierenzo. Consumed well past bb after dark lagering at the home base cellar... Pours a brackish plum brown with withering off-white head. Cultivated Dunkelweizen/Dubbel crossover nose of plum liquor and fruity caramel roast, like baked banana and raisin. Taste sees more fruit sugars developing under various culinary treatments, with a plum/berry tartness as well, along with that typical plump plum Dunkelweizen mouthfeel. Hops kick in noticeably on the back end but offer little relief to its Weizenbrick tendencies.

330ml bottle, thanks to Benzai! Pours a murky dark brown with fast receding off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts and caramel, taste follows with smooth honey, liquorice and fruit cake creeping in. Not bad.

A beautiful, honey-like colored, somewhat cloudy beer with a slightly brown layer of foam. It has a slightly hoppy aroma, with the hint of yeast. Nice, sweet taste like licorice, but not much of bitterness. The licorice moves on into the aftertaste.

33cl shared bottle @ home from Mitra. Hazy deep ruby-brownish color, medium white head, minimal. Aroma caramel, banana, hint of roastyness in the nose, flavor is more caramel, honey, syrup, slightly fruity. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, hint of sourness, slightly acidic, watery sidetaste. Light to medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, short lasting sweetish finish. Easy to drink, not too exciting, not my style.
