Blond color; creamy head. The aroma is mild and simple, but not bad. The malt flavor is quite nice and crispy, it has a grainy character; the hops are mild but they provide a nice and noble grassy touch.
Very pleasant Pilsner, gentle and elegant.
8 oz sample at Collins Pub. Metallic, spicy aroma with some cereal hints. Light sweetness is also present. Nicely aromatic. Transparent yellow body with a small, white head present. Starts a little sweet. Light honey character. Becomes a little spicy and grassy in the middle. Nice pilsner maltiness in the finish, along with some grassy hop flavors. A really awesome pils! hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAY 30, 2012

At the brewery, pours pale yellow with fizzy white foam. Flower and hay aroma. Bitter hop and a distinct grassy flavor. Can taste the hop in the finish.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2014 Mild aroma, powerful Saaz bitterness. Light ground-wheat-thin grains. A solid Pilsner suffering the misfortune of following immediately after their spectacular kolsch. 7/3/7/4/15
Atullis (4) - - NOV 29, 2011 does not count
Addendum: after numerous additional encounters with this beer, I’m always a bit disappointed. A brewery as good with German lagers as Chuckanut should be able to do better with a pils. This one is too grainy, not grassy enough, and just plain not as good as Trumer. Bumping the overall down a point.
All the time...on tap at the nut, growlers, growlers, and kegs. Clear and effervescent with balanced malt, traditional aroma with a present bitter finish.

GABF 2011. Pours clear gold with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is grain and cereal malt, light corn, spicy Noble hops, and a clean lager character. Flavor is moderate spicy hops, corn notes, heavy Pilsner malt, clean with a dry finish. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JUN 20, 2011
Draft at brewery: Wonderful pilsner. Crisp, aromatic and dry, just like I like them. Bright golden hue. Bready, cracker-like malts. Snappy Saaz hops provide bright aromas (floral and herbal) and a healthy bitterness. Clean and very easy to quaff.
