Draft. Beernutz. Dark copper. Aroma coffee beans, vanilla, caramel. Medium body. Below ave carbonation. Interesting take on the pious dunkel. Fresh tasting coffee bean and some caramel notes. Pretty good DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - NOV 19, 2012
Clear orange brown color. Not as dark as other coffee made beers. Extremely mild aroma with some malt hints. A nice beer for the fall. jmikolich (1486) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - NOV 19, 2012
Tap at CBW, the coffee is not what I would have expected. I was thinking something like Coffee bender for aroma and what I got and tasted was not that.. it was a bad mix of Dunkel and Old coffee. FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a medium caramel color with a large foamy tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was dryish and a bit sour with a moderate coffee note. The flavor was sour, bitter and burnt coffee - like the coffee they used to serve at McDonalds which was always more like vaguely coffee flavored battery acid - so yeah, this was not a good flavor at all. Long sour and burnt McDonalds coffee finish. Medium body.
