An interesting idea that worked out well. The coffee fits in well among the citrus and sweet malt flavors. Would definitely seek this one out again.
Listed as kenyan sunrise coffee pale ale. Slight soap aroma. Taste is spicey pepper and coffee. Good co2 and it comes across very fresh. Not bad. Acceptably well balanced for a coffee inspired brew. A little bitter on the finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 30, 2016
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2016 Calling it Kenyan Sunrise at this point. +++ Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a vibrant copper color with an enormous foamy white head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee and fruity hops. The flavor was tangy fruity hops with an undertone of chocolate and coffee. Medium length finish. Medium body and smooth. Tasty. Clear coffee nose with some faint hoppy fruit and sweet malt. Pale golden pour with thick white foam. Medium body and medium fizz, slightly oily. The coffee and mild malt combine well for a rich taste. The bitterness comes at the end, but manages to harmonize well with the coffee.
Sampled at Big Pour 2015.

At diamond cafe. Pours a clear pale yellow color. Very little aroma. Slight apricot and coffee aroma. Coffee is quite faint. Taste is mild. Light sweetness. Not much going on. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - AUG 26, 2015
Tap @ brewery. Golden with thin head and decent lacing. I think I’m getting apricot and coffee in the nose. Tastes like a chili beer.

Pours a clear light orange. Dominant coffee aroma which leaves it difficult to detect pretty much anything else. Definitely astringent and somewhat sour. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Sampled on tap at Church. Very mild coffee aroma with neutral fruit sweetness. No discernible hop aroma. Pale golden clear with white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium-light carbonation. Starts with pale malt sweetness and light coffee. Interesting to have this flavor in a light-colored beer for a change. Finish is coffee and nutty sweet, with good hoppy bitter punch. This one poured a bright orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of light citrusy and green hops, with a solid amount of coffee. Flavor was mainly coffee, green pepper, citrusy hops. Overall nicely done. LilBeerDoctor (3989) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pale orange with a thick white head. Aroma of light fruits, bready malt, roasted malt, roasted nuts, toffee. Flavor of coffee grounds along with your pale malts, floral hops, light citrus with more coffee in the finish. Interesting beer- it has plenty coffee but still maintains the pale ale base and isn’t too heavy. I wasn’t sure I would like this concept, but it’s quite delicious!
