COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The ThunderHop I.P.A. has an intense bitterness, flavor and aroma. We chose to use two varieties of American hops in the brewing process. The color is copper to amber and the aroma is noticeably hoppy due to the use of Glaciers in the dry hop process. You will also pick up a complexity from fruit-like esters. The body is big and malty with some caramel sweetness.

Bottle from Summer SS 08. Good citrus and fresh floral aromas. Cloudy cooper body with off white head and decent lacing. Good citrus grapefruit hop flavor with some sweet sugar addditive. Cool and crisp on the palate with citrus lingering on palate. Good brew thanks Alan.

gunhaver (1030) - Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 10, 2008
Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Pours a bronze sheen, creamy white head and very sticky lacing. Strong hops in the nose, citrus, huge tropical influence, lots of mango, notably and some cantaloupe. Flavors of bitter hops, citrus, and big on tropical fruit. Very tasty. Nice tangy body, smooth, hoppy as hell, very unique and very good. Real surprised by this gem.

doubleipa (224) - Georgia, USA - AUG 29, 2008
Had this on tap at the Harrisburg Brewfest. Aroma was great with lots of grapefruit and lots of pine and some toasted caramel, malt. Apperance was lightly hazy amber with a decent sized off-white head. Some acific bitterness with a mdium body.

MrBendo (1064) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - AUG 27, 2008
Bottle. Clear dark orange color with a medium head. It’s got a pretty cool label on the bottle; Zeus with lightning produced hops. Not overtly sweet like other IIPAs, but not loaded with the normal hop flavors you’d expect. Might be stale hops, as there was no date on the bottle.

Fruitfly (59) - , Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Bottle, 12oz. Deep hazy brown with a very small amount of fine head. Aroma is first quite sweet: bubble gum and then picks up with grape fruity hops. Flavor is sharp of hops and leads to a long bitter finish. The light body is a surprise given the murky appearance. A decent double IPA whose hops are unencumbered by excessive malts.

mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2008
[1279-20080410] 12floz bottle. Super grainy hops aroma with citrus navel orange and toasted lemon and pine and sweetness. Clear, medium orange amber body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Pine hops citrus flavour has acidic bitterness and toasted malt. Medium bitter body. Good, but made even better because Zeus is throwing hop thunderbolts!

hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2008
12oz bottle. Poured a medium and lightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral, and toasted caramel. Tastes of basically the same. Alcohol content well hidden.

DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2008
Pours deep copper with 2-finger off-white head and great lacing. Nose is fruity, with berries, heavy grapefruity hops, solid caramel malt. Tastes very resiny hoppy, with caramel malt, and not as much fruit in the flavor as the aroma, but notes of grapefruit and mild berries emerge throughout. Smooth, velvety palate. Nice.

michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 27, 2008
12oz. Bottle: Hoppy aroma. Smells of hops, citrus, grapefruit, resin, and nectarine. Poured copper in color with a small, off-white head that disappeared. Clear. Very slightly sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, grapefruit, resin, citrus, fruit, and tropical fruits. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Dry, hoppy finish is not all that bitter. 8%ABV is well hidden.

kassner (1663) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2008
Had to take it by the bottle, but very nice double IPa, with plenty of aroma and florals but still firmly on the dry side. Very slightly hazy light amber, faur head
