The ThunderHop I.P.A. has an intense bitterness, flavor and aroma. We chose to use two varieties of American hops in the brewing process. The color is copper to amber and the aroma is noticeably hoppy due to the use of Glaciers in the dry hop process. You will also pick up a complexity from fruit-like esters. The body is big and malty with some caramel sweetness.

Bread-like grain and malt. A bit of citrus, perhaps some cherry as well. Hops come on, very full, but not all that bitter. An IPA, but not a standout.

IPA enjoyed out of the growler straight from source to fridge for 2 hours to byob dinner table shared with homemade pizza pies. First notes are of fruit, melon, citrus and hop. Bitter all in the flavor. Finishes bitter, sweet from the caramel, super juicy and a little boozy.

On draft. Cooper color with fluffy one finger head. Tropical fruit aroma. Sweeter taste and a little earthy. Enjoyable.

callmemickey (4542) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Light amber colored body with a medium sized white head and soapy lacing. Assertive caramel malt, old piney/resinous hop notes. Medium to full bodied with gentle carbonation, a tad sweet without the necessary bitterness to remedy.

MarkSachon (1023) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Sampler from the mixed flight of currently running brews. Overall this appeared and tasted to be weak. Definitely compromised on ingredients and body and taste. Why do so many brewpubs continue to cheat their customers with this hogwash?

BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 On tap at the brewery. Pours amber colored with a small white head. Aroma of pine, some grass, caramel malts. Flavor follows the smell closely with light bitter, pine notes, caramel malts, light sweetness. Medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not bad but not particularly impressed either.
