COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The ThunderHop I.P.A. has an intense bitterness, flavor and aroma. We chose to use two varieties of American hops in the brewing process. The color is copper to amber and the aroma is noticeably hoppy due to the use of Glaciers in the dry hop process. You will also pick up a complexity from fruit-like esters. The body is big and malty with some caramel sweetness.

Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Nice pine hop aroma, pours a clear amber, with next to no head. Nice punch of hops, with a dry bitter finish. There’s a long lingering bitterness, low carbonation, and a medium body. Easy drinking, and a solid IPA.

On tap at the brew pub in Pittsburgh. Well balanced IPA, not over the top- I think the bitterness is controlled. Very light gold color.

PanMarek (463) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2017
Slightly cloudy, dark yellow pour with a beige, lasting foam. Strong resinous nose that is much more fruity on the tongue. A little malt sweetness, but very much a west coast IPA with a lingering pepper touch.

Clear gold pour white head. Big resin smell. Mellow flavor to start bitter end.

bottle @ House of 1000 Beers / New Kensington PA --- Cloudy dark amber, off-white head that sinks to a bubbly rim, sheets of lace. Taste is malt that begins to sweeten through the swallow before being snuffed out by citrus hops. The hops add unsweetened tea during a long finish. Not sure this one is fresh.

3.5
PorterPounder (8288) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 27, 2016
Pittsburgh, PA - on tap at Church Brew Works. Slight haze to the medium copper pour, light bone colored head that clings to the edge of the glass. Heavy spruce aroma, some papaya fruitiness, maple syrup sweetness. Flavor has some citrus accents, a bit of pineapple fruitiness, some caramel sweetness, Kind of a throwback to old-timey West Coast IPA. Thickish mouthfeel.
