Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy golden-apricot color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was strong sweet pine, pineapple, grapefruit and fruit cocktail. The flavor was sweet and bitter fruit cocktail, pine, and catbox. The finish was long and bitter with lingering fruit cocktail and pine though turning a bit dry at the end. Moderately full bodied and the alcohol was well hidden. Nice.
Sample at the Beers of the Burgh Fest May 2017. Pours a deep golden yellow with a white head. Nice citrus aroma. A little harsh but still fairly enjoyable. madelfonatree (317) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Look - Copper orange see through when warm. Thin white head with weak pour. No lacing.
Smell - Malt. Lemon. Orange.
Taste - Bitter up front followed by faint citrus. More bitter than anything.
Feel - Medium. Average carbonation.
Overall - Not well balanced but a beer I can drink. Add some citrus or malt to balance bitterness. djd07 (15330) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2015
