My second bottled offering from the altar, and by far the best. Slightly greenish pale gold pour humming mustily of the hopsack. A typically churchish brew swimming with zesty grapefruit hoppiness. A crisp bite of hops in the finish with none of the biscuity oatiness characterising their more sessionable beers. A spoonful of lemon soapiness. Straightforward but refreshingly crisp Ale. Bottle that Barry picked up at SH Jones, Bicester, Oxon, Saturday 29th October 2011, cheers Barry. Pours gold with a lacing of filmy white tiny bubbles. Little bit floral on the nose, lightly fruity in the mouth with citrus showing, though also a touch flowery in mouth.
