Probably my favourite fruit beer to date. Has a nice appearance pouring a golden colour with a red tint to it, but lacks any sort of head. Amora was a pleasant sweetness that I didn’t find overpowering. Taste was wheat with a perfect level of tart carberry and a subtle sweetness from, I would guess, maple. It finished with a little bitterness that seemed just right for rounding out the beer. It was the first fruit beer I’ve had that I actually felt tasted like a beer and not a soda.

341ml Bottle: Complex, but doesn’t seem to go as far as it should. Poured almost head-free, and offered up a gentle sweet smell I suppose would be the maple; however, maple is absent in the flavour. Tastes of wheat, as promised, with a little bitterness, and a welcome cranberry flavour underneath. I liked the way the flavour came out, but I’m just not sure I’d go out of my way to try it again. Well above average as far as fruit beers tend to go.

Bottle from Paul (blankboy) Thanks! Pours out a pale yellow color with a fruity smell of cranberries and maples. Taste is sweet and somewhat refreshing. Not a bad beer on a hot day, not really sure why it is a winter seasonal. Not something I could drink alot as the sweetness would become overwhelming eventually. Worth a shot though.

it have a smell of chemical grappe and it taste first very sour in one time and become more sweet at the end no trace of cranberry there (maybe the sour taste) not so bad but not one of my fav<s

Bottle. Pours a slightly off-golden with a very long, lasting, thick head. Slight scent of berries on the nose. Favor was more of an American Wheat with cranberries. Could not discern any maple flavors and the residual sweetness was not apparent to me. Refreshing, but thin bodied. I was really looking forward to this one and was disappointed by the outcome. Thanks to Blankboy for the bottle.

Bottle. Pours a bubbly gold with a small diminishing white head. Big cranberry and maple aroma -- really nice. Flavour also of cranberries and maple syrup along with some wheat and malt. Well balanced and not cloying at all. Light bodied. Very refreshing, a great summer patio beer -- I can see how it would be an acquired taste but I really like it.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2007 Bottle (341ml) courtesy of tupalev - thank you!. Poured light golden with a thin, fine white head which quickly diminished, no lacing. Clean, a little bubbling, but not particularly carbonated. Looks like flat ginger ale. Aroma - very sweet, smells like a popsicle, or maybe ice cream - not appealing to me at all, but I soldier on. Flavour is thin, mouthfeel, flat, gruelish, vaguely sweet, hint of stale maple, cranberry only apparent in lack of overwhelming cloying taste - fast diminish. From the bottle this is pretty lame, but I am giving it higher marks because I had it on tap and it was interesting - avoid in the bottle.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of cranberry bubblegum? mix with some strong wheat malt. Taste is very refreshing with lots of tart cranberry, strong wheat malt and some well balance sweetness from the maple. Nice mix between a wheat beer and a fruit beer. I’m starting to really like brewery.

The beer that thinks it’s cider. Pale golden carbonated with no head... tastes faintly of berry, but not really cranberry. There is a sweetness to it that makes it overly quaffable. A good drink back brew, not a session brew... I really liked it!
