UPDATED: SEP 13, 2006 Golden ale with a compact white head. Cherry Halls aroma, very seet and chemical. Sweet fruity tatse with more of a maraschino cherry aftertaste. Very light bodied. Tap at Pub Italia. 5-3-5-2-10 JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 12, 2004
Hazy golden ale with a thin white head. Sweet cranberry aroma with light maple, very pleasant. In mouth, a tart refreshing wheat with light maple notes. A nice quaffer. Bottle bought by KP, April 2006. 7-3-7-3-13
Pale golden colour, almost no head. Beautiful cranberry aroma with notes of other sweet berries. A hint of maple in the flavour, but not in the nose. Flavour shows huge cranberry/strawberry character. Sweet pale malt as well. Short, fruity finish. mustang3 (254) - Whitby, CANADA - OCT 9, 2004
On tap @ smokeless Joe’s. This beer actually tastes as advertised unlike so many maple and honey beers and for that I will give credit. Faint nose of cranberry and the flavour is not all that strong. I can taste the tartness of the cranberries and the sweetness of the maple, but it’s all a little weak. pintbypint (3642) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 3, 2004
341ml brown bottle. This beer kind of disappointed me as well. Not at all what I expected. It was pretty light, a little bit fizzy. Golden colour, thin white head that didn’t last. flavour was pretty watery, the aroma was more like cranberry soda. Finished dry. beanmedic (347) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 1, 2004
Really tightly knit cap of tiny bubble that lasted until finished with great lacing. cloudy straw colour in keeping with the wheat aspect of this beer. the cranberry and maple aspect was a little too subtle for my liking but good nonetheless.

Pours clear gold with a well retained white sudsy head. Modest lacing. Cranberry and maple, vanilla in the aroma. Very strange but not in a good way. A dull lager with not enough tart from the cranberries. Maple is only detected in the aroma. Any sweetness from the maple within the beer tastes like an adjunct. It would be nice if the beer had some colour/hadn’t been lagered. This beer ends up being pretty ordinary for something so odd. shintriad (701) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 10, 2004
A little bit hazy-looking in appearance, which is always fun. And the nose is almost entirely that off those red, white and blue popsicles you used to get as a kid, primarily the white ("pineapple") bit. Has a chalky, metallic aftertaste. Now where’s the maple at? mds (2250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 7, 2004
Draught at the Toronto Beer Festival 2004. Perfumey tart cranberry aroma. Has a syrupy texture. I didn’t really taste much of the maple, but the cranberries were definitely there but not as much as you would think judging from the aroma. Dry. (Draught) Thin, quick-dissipating head with a lightly carbonated golden body. Nose of cheap cherry popsicles with vanilla and egg. Fizzy, syrup and... is that yeast? MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 8, 2004
On tap at the winking judge in Hamilton, Ontario. Pours a sparkling gold body with a thin head. Looks like a regular lager or pilsner. Aromas are sweet and very fruity(cranberry). Reminds me of cranberry juice. Taste is more cranbery than maple, but both are present. Very refreshing. Slight fruit/bitter aftertaste, but it is a good thing. Another good beer from Church Key.
