On tap at the winking judge in Hamilton, Ontario. Pours a sparkling gold body with a thin head. Looks like a regular lager or pilsner. Aromas are sweet and very fruity(cranberry). Reminds me of cranberry juice. Taste is more cranbery than maple, but both are present. Very refreshing. Slight fruit/bitter aftertaste, but it is a good thing. Another good beer from Church Key. blankboy (7808) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2006
Bottle. Pours a bubbly gold with a small diminishing white head. Big cranberry and maple aroma -- really nice. Flavour also of cranberries and maple syrup along with some wheat and malt. Well balanced and not cloying at all. Light bodied. Very refreshing, a great summer patio beer -- I can see how it would be an acquired taste but I really like it. mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2007

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2003 Very berry nose, hazy golden, with a medium white head. Cranberry, raspberry, wheat flavours. Sweet, full bodied, refreshing, a nice addition for them. Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 19, 2006
341ml Bottle: Complex, but doesn’t seem to go as far as it should. Poured almost head-free, and offered up a gentle sweet smell I suppose would be the maple; however, maple is absent in the flavour. Tastes of wheat, as promised, with a little bitterness, and a welcome cranberry flavour underneath. I liked the way the flavour came out, but I’m just not sure I’d go out of my way to try it again. Well above average as far as fruit beers tend to go.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2006 pours a yellow color with a very small head fruity sweet crandberry smel and a cranberry taste to start and then a hint of maple. pootzboy (1803) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2007
On Tap at the Castle
Tapped a pale gold with a light hazed shimmer to it...1 finger white cap does not last too long but does lace the glass well.
Pungent aromas of cranberry but not synthetic or perfumery, undertones of sweetness and some grass.
Front side makes an impression like a wheat biscuit with cranberry sauce on it then mid palate the maple shows ...good hop character accents the tart cranberry...finish is incredible...dry and tart from the wheat and cranberry working together some maple tones...almost puckering dryness.
A summer deck beer...not a girly drink but I’m sure it will appeal to the ladies...well put together...flavors blend in proportion and give a decent amalgamation....good solid summer beer effort from a great micro.

On tap at the brewery. Appearance: Amber orange, small white head. Aroma: Cranberry for sure, some strawberries and wheat. Flavour: Quite sweet and malty, some cherry and cranberry, almost ’cooler’ like, not a bad little tipple.
