Hazy golden ale with a thin white head. Sweet cranberry aroma with light maple, very pleasant. In mouth, a tart refreshing wheat with light maple notes. A nice quaffer. Bottle bought by KP, April 2006. 7-3-7-3-13

Draught at the Toronto Beer Festival 2004. Perfumey tart cranberry aroma. Has a syrupy texture. I didn’t really taste much of the maple, but the cranberries were definitely there but not as much as you would think judging from the aroma. Dry. mustang3 (254) - Whitby, CANADA - OCT 9, 2004
On tap @ smokeless Joe’s. This beer actually tastes as advertised unlike so many maple and honey beers and for that I will give credit. Faint nose of cranberry and the flavour is not all that strong. I can taste the tartness of the cranberries and the sweetness of the maple, but it’s all a little weak. Thaichile (599) - 10aFly, New Jersey, USA - APR 28, 2006
Bottle. Pours a slightly off-golden with a very long, lasting, thick head. Slight scent of berries on the nose. Favor was more of an American Wheat with cranberries. Could not discern any maple flavors and the residual sweetness was not apparent to me. Refreshing, but thin bodied. I was really looking forward to this one and was disappointed by the outcome. Thanks to Blankboy for the bottle.

341 bottle from 6-pack purchased at brewery. Pours light gold with thin white head. Strong berry smell. Fairly strong berry taste with a dry finish. All in all a decent summer beer. herrbrown1974 (427) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 30, 2012
On tap. Cloudy straw pour with quickly diminishing white head. Nose is all tarty cranberry and strawberry. Up front is the same. Not getting much of the syrup, but I can’t imagine what this would taste like without the added ingredient. Finishes with a salty earthiness. Not getting a yeasty "wheat beer" character. Just not very good. robinvboyer (4670) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 2, 2007
bottle at cafe volo.
ok, cranberry yes, maple?! I dont taste any maple. its overpowered by an artifical cranberry flavour, not horrible, but far from great. VeloVampire (625) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 2, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2008 341 ml bottle - pours a clear medium gold colour with very little head. Aroma is mainly fruitiness with cherry upfront, some cranberry, and a hint of green apple. Flavour a bit strange - a bit too saccharine and not much maple at all. I guess cranberry is in there, but the whole thing kind of reminded me a bit of cherry fluoride. A decent grainy presence in the body saves this one from being completely ridiculous. Didn’t get much wheat. First Church-Key brew I’ve had that I’ve been slightly disappointed by. Oh well, I guess there had to be one.....interesting experiment though.
