Extremely solid. Bottle from Andy and Kathy - beer club. Cloves, spicy and yeasty notes in nose. Big thick mouthfeel syrupy, sticky sweet, a bit of booze. Carbonation tingles at back end helps balance. Dry / yeasty finish balances sweet. Well done. wlajwl (6942) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Aroma is pineapple juice, very perfumed/slightly off and slight sweetness. The flavor is pineapple/pineapple juice, tropical fruit/fruit, pale malts, Belgian yeast and an alcoholic/warming finish. Homer321 (5142) - Melboring, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2016

Nice candy, sweet, malty aroma. Crystal clear yellow color. Nice strong sweet malt up front with spicy, fruity notes throughout. Taste is balanced on the finish and has a nice alcohol burn also. Very good.

Draft at Standard Market in July, $6. Brassy gold color with a thin, fizzy head. Light, slightly malty smell, with a barely noticeable alcohol nose. First taste has some cherry to it, but then it’s malt forward the rest of the way. Just enough hops to keep it from tasting sugary, so it has that over many other strong beers. Cherry taste comes back midway through. Finishes with strong malts, and again only a slight alcohol presence. Enjoyable surprise.
