Very good beer. Little lighter than Stella. I would get it again. I have nothing more to say about this.
Clear, yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some floral notes along with cereal grains. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter with a quick finish. muzzlehatch (4975) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 5, 2017
12 ounce bottle from...Schnucks in Roscoe, IL, I think. Served a bit above fridge themp in a König Pils glass. Pours a burnished gold-brass with a moderate-to-large but rather quick-diminishing snow-white head...aroma bready-grassy; a couple of bottles had a vague soapiness to them but that fades quickly; hints of tarragon and pepper are there for the asking when I work at it...the body has no problematic or off characteristics, thankfully, it's just a full-on thick malty layer of goodness with some nice light grassy-weedy bitterness towards the finish and a very light sweetness throughout; a near-perfect Helles on the tongue, this is. Perhaps in the end it's just a slight bit heavy and could use a tiny bit more carbonation, but that's quibbling. This is solid stuff in the end and I'm glad that more quality local examples of this style are available nowadays. Jpmercer (107) - shakopee, Minnesota, USA - AUG 2, 2017
One of Germany’s quintessential beverages, now in Chicagoland. Utilizing old world decoction mashing techniques for a truly sweet malt character. This gentle drink also features a straw-colored clarity that’s clearly heavenly!

Hazy straw/gold color; Medium body: Aroma of malt, hay/grain, and light hops; Flavor of slight sweet malt, grain, some hops, and citrus; Crisp finish; Decent. JPDIPSO (6300) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Lightly hazed light golden liquid. Small head of somewhat creamy looking white bubbles. Pale malt and light ester, especially bananas. Hint of herbal hops and actually caught a touch of alcohol. Very soft fell, nearly light a mild cask ale. Light pale malt, mild wheat, creamy. Most interesting and likely the best beer I’ve have tonight, but not much of a helles lager. Cream ale, golden ale, pre-pro lager/ale, damn near tastes like a good American wheat. Enjoyed it for what it was not what they told me it was. 1/14

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a big malt with some sweetness and a bit of plastic. Flavor is a nice rich malt. Very clean with some grain and grassy hops. I don’t get any of the plastic in the flavor like I got in the aroma. Very true to style with a nice malt profile vyvvy (6857) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma is on the malty side, lager roundness and caramel. It has a medium lightly rough body with moderate carbonation. It has a drier taste with some mildly toasted malt and dine spicy hops. Pretty good. Homer321 (5250) - Melboring, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2016
Draft at source. Clean malt nose. Crisp malt flavor. Very clean and free of any faults. A touch sweet but that’s the style. A super clean lager without any faults stepnephewjoey (1) - - APR 17, 2016 does not count

A fantastic beer from a quality local brewery. Church Street Brewery has a lot of quality beers, but this one is my favorite
