Bottle, shared on the RBSG bus. I thought the wax on this was black, but looking at the description here, it must have been dark brown. Near black, viscous pour with a lazy dense brown head. Rich roasty aroma, chocolate and vanilla too. Extremely full bodies, loads of roast, chocolate liqueur, vanilla, coffee undertones, nice fruity acidity prevents it from weighing the palate down too much. So smooth and rich. Really excellent. Bottle 2014 vintage at home. Pours deep brown to deep marroon black.Aroma is extremely roasted hazel nuts, coco, dark malts, burnt caramel, bourbon raw alcohol, topped with loads of vanilla. woah. Medium to big body, very slick and oily, loads of alcohol burn, some bitterness towards the end but nicely overly sweet. Taste is again all of the burnt characters from the nose, and some leather and burnt rubber as well. One of the most intense BA RIS’s that I have ever tasted.
