Tap. Light golden yellow pour. Nice aroma with white wine, tart, and soft, sweet fruit. Taste is tart with grain and white wine and light lemon. Clean and dry. Balanced and oh so drinkable. Very nice.

Tap at Churchill’s Sour Fest. Low haze, glowing straw pour. Medium foam with wispy lacing. Nose is juicy tangerine, mango, LA house funk (sharp oak, cranberry). Taste is juicy pineapple, peach. But hot hot tamale tonight there is a lot of acetic heat. Palate overtaken by acetic heat. Salty, vinegary.

On tap at Churchill’s, dark orange pour with some haze and a small white head. Aroma is sour and light tart fruit with flavor similar and a nice sour bite. Pretty damn good!

Tap @ Churchill’s for Churchill’s Finest Hour day... Poured pale, golden yellow with a thin, fizzy head. Light, tropical fruit flavors with a nice sourness and woody characters. Some vinous components, with an acidic tartness. But too lactic that it overpowered the other notes of this beer. Some citrus and yeast spice going on too.

On tap at Churchill’s sourfest on a blistering hot day. Color was hazy gold with a bit of white head. Aroma was of an interesting herbal character maybe due to the Guava in this beer along with a tad bit of brett funk. Medium light in body. Flavors were tasty with lemon, white wine, guava, oak, and orange. Mild tart sourness.Nice smooth finish. Great beer.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2012 Draft at Churchill’s. Hazy orange/gold, with a frothy white head. Grassy, tart lemon, brett funk, guava, white grape vinous, a bit of oak, herbal spiciness, and earth. Nice, I like it. Refreshing, dry, and funky, not a sweet fruity sour.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a white head. Nose has some perfume and guava notes with a fair amount of oak, grass, straw, and sawdust. A weird cedar like spiciness with a moderate tartness. The flavor has a decent lemon tartness along with guava. Weird dustiness, almost like sawdust. Plenty of wood, a tannic, charred oak flavor, and a mild white wine sweetness. Disappointing.
