A unique beer that is a must try for anyone who likes heat. It reminded me of a light beer I had with a few drops of Cayenne Pepper Extract. Enjoyed this beer at a beer tasting event, Brrfest, in Coralville, IA

opaque nut, Thin white ring. NondeScript nose, light plastic and sugar, little garbage. Spicy front palate, sticky with low sugar, thin and spicy, light fruit, thick viscous with light buteric finish.

nimbleprop (8928) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - NOV 23, 2015
750ml bottle with heavy orange wax pours a murky amber with some cloudy, white head. Looks terrible. Nose has mild Fresno pepper, some strawberry, malt. Flavor has bile and some yellow bell pepper, lots of tomato, some chili, some tabasco. Finishes with some acetic tabasco in the throat.

radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - NOV 23, 2015
Bottle at the November 2015 DC Gathering. Poured a hazy, almost muddy brown color with an off-white head. surprisingly not awful. no heat though. strawberry fruit roll up with tomato paste notes? I guess - I’m probably trying to be way more critical of this than I’d normally be. This is actually not awful for my first CIB beer.

Iphonephan (7480) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2015
From a bottle at the Nov 2015 RateBeer gathering. Pours a murky brown with a scant tan head. Grassy nose. Flavors of pepper and caramel.

GenDV138 (7837) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Bottle at the DC Gathering. Hazy brown with beige head. Aromas of orange, light peppers. Tastes of orange citrus, light pepper. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Travlr (26430) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Bottle courtesy of HuskerTan, thanks - I think. Generously shared with my grateful tasting group. Pour wax job, one appearance point off. Murky orange color. Aroma of spiced orange peel. Taste has pepper flesh, light heat and spice. Inoffensive.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 29, 2015
(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy amber body with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma of V-8 juice, chilies, spoiled fruit, and caramel. Flavor of chili peppers, blood mary, and spoiled fruit.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2015 bootled wale slayed thanks to andy (nobody). my second CIB and now i have a little bit more than no cred.

Fresh out of power tools and happen to be buzzed quick so the waxed cap on this one can eat shit. pours muddy murky flat cola brown once it is finally oop vir.

aroma of coca cola dimetap rootbier. big sweet figgy toffeed jelly doughnut. bit of vinegar prunes.

taste offers red wine vineger, old doughy tomatoes. that lingering finish has a harsh onslaught of rough chili pepper mold. session bile. notably less drinkable than anticipated. a two sip dip.

some little bug seems to be getting real wased in my bier. but i think i got him out okay maybe.

Strykzone (7800) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2015
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. Some pepper in the aroma and the flavor. The pepper grows. This beer brought huge sweetness and peppers and almost nothing else.

bytemesis (9509) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Bottle, purchased lovingly from John’s grocery and carefully stored for the perfect moment to spring it on the tasting group. Again, loving that little string in the wax - makes life much easier. Pour is hazy ruby amber, small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is orange, pepper, cleaning fluid, malts. Flavor is medium sweet, a bit of tartness (infection?), medium heat - not overpowering by any means. Pepper flavors evident. Light body. After Morning Wood I was expecting the worst, but I must say this was a surprisingly drinkable beer. Another CIB tick for me, along with the shot of RB street cred that goes with it!
