COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshingly dry cider that’s got hops. Our roughcut tribute to football terraces and punk rock shows, Everybody Pogo is perfect for when you are sweat soaked and smiling, after a show, a match, a hike, or a just long day at work. Dry and quenching with a hint of sweet apple flavor, as organically grown Goldings hops pogo gently across your taste buds. A distinctly Oregonian product, Everybody Pogo mates Hood River apples and Willamette Valley hops. Unfiltered and lightly carbonated Everybody Pogo pairs well with soft mild cheeses such as Farmer’s Cheese, young cheddar, and with spicy foods such as yellow curries.

Bottle. Very pale yellow with fine brisk carbonation. Plastic, sulphur, and cleanser notes ruin the underlying dry cider. A bad bottle I guess, shame.

sulawang (1217) - - DEC 8, 2016
Visual: Pours light orange with lots of suspended sediment, no head, supremely thin ringed retention, no activity.

Nose: light tangy sour apple juice mixed with some honey. (lvl-5)-pungency

Attack: dry, dull flat

Mid-palate: tangy-acidic, soft sour, soft apple fruit, (lvl-1-sweetness), grassy floralness non-bitter hops

Finish: dry light-med tart, white wine perfumey exhale, residual apple flavour

Summary: Not your typical juicy sweet cider, but instead a nuanced dry cider lacking in carbonated crispness. Okay with a meal, not terribly engaging or to my palate’s liking.

mcberko (20260) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 28, 2014
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out moderate sweet apples, with not much notice of the hops. Flavour is uber dry, with dry apples and a modest hop character. Low complexity, with decent drinkability. Acceptable but too dry for me.

fiulijn (21522) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 25, 2014
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color with small foam crown. The apple aroma is light, a bit lemony. Strange flavor, it has light cider characteristic, some lemony acidity, and an undesired wood presence, leading to a strangely bitter final. The hops don’t seem to have worked well here.
I’m not impressed.
