75cl bottle. Hazy golden orange with a small white head. Green apples, light vanilla and sour. Nice. jfb (6623) - GERMANY - SEP 17, 2013
(bottle, exploding cork) pours a hazy golden colour with a fizzy white head. aroma of green apples, slightly medicinal, with hints of leather, vanilla and apple skins. flavour is very medicinal, with prominent notes of barnyard, leather, sour apples and vanilla. light to medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - FEB 25, 2013
Very hazy brown golden appearance with initially a white foamy head. Rustic apple aroma, some pear as well, cinnamon and cookie dough. Sweaty, meaty kind of yeast appeal. More refined and rich than your average (French) supermarket cider. Fairly low carbon and very dry ending. Lively yet lowly carbonated mouth feel with quite some bitterness. Definitely not sweet. With its sour hint I bed it pairs great with food. Unfortunately mine was too spicy this time around to get this pairing to work. It’s always hard give marks to a cider, but I do really like this one. Maybe a bit too rough (dry) in the end. (75cl bottle from Auchan in Tours) Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 5, 2012
