COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

ENGLISH
The apples are handpicked, crushed, and pressed only once. They are then fermented at low temperatures in sealed tanks, creating natural effervescence with no added sugars.

A light sparkling cider with only 2.5% alcohol and an intense bouquet of fresh, slightly sweet apples. A good balance between bubbles, natural sugars and acidity makes this cider unique.

750ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours a clear light golden colour with a tiny white head. Nose is champagne and sour apples. Flavour has a moderate sweetness and subtle sourness from the apples. Decent but I preferred the Rosé.

Corked bottle
Very pale color, fizzy, no head. Mild aroma, but the flavor is delicate, nice, with very light residual sweetness. In France there are ciders with similar ABV but more character.
Elegant, light though.

750mL bottle, pours a mostly clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry apple skins and some champagney notes. Flavour brings out light sweetness from the apples, with some champagne character and a little leather. Not as complex as the Rose version, but this works pretty well. Moderate-to-heavy carbonation. Good, but nothing special.

Light green. No head. The aroma isn’t much. Sweet, lightly fruity, maybe a bit funky as well. Bit fizzy. So for me, maybe not the greatest balance but it does have more character than the average cider of this type, with a bit more than the usual acidity in the finish.

A very light blonde cider with aroma of sweet apple jam, light mineral notes, light acidity, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet bubble apple juice with light mineral notes, light acidity, pleasant.

(Rating #7261)

750ml bottle. Crystal clear pale blonde, effervescent bubbles and a thin ring of white foam. Flavors are green apple flesh/skin and apple candy with floral notes. Light body, lively carbonation, slick texture. Dry tangy finish.

Bottle (750 ml). Split 4-ways. Clear white-ish golden with a foamy quickly vanishing white head. Aroma is of fresh McIntosh apples along sugary - not artifical - notes and mild grassy presence. Taste is mildly acidic with again fresh McIntosh apples flesh and mild grassy notes. Light body, but never watery. Big persistent bubbles, never too agressive, but giving a nice ample mouthfeel. Apple flesh finish. I was impressed by how present the apple is in this one which is not often the case with low abv cider. This is quite tasty and extremely easy to drink. Good job on the mouthfeel as well, I think there’s not another cidery doing a better job than Du Minot with "bubbles" in Québec. The free 1 oz sample you can get at the cidery won’t give justice to this one, it’s worth buying a bottle to give it a proper try.
