(750ml bottle) Purchased at La Trappe à Fromage in Gatineau, QC. First off - the cork blew off and almost killed the host; it thin proceeded to spew its contents all over Lubiere’s back deck; the could only have been 1/2 the bottle remaining after the disaster. I hope Jodoin offers me a new bottle!! Pours a pink head with a peachy-red body. Nose is sweet and crisp. Very fresh apples swish around one’s mouth with a grand and balanced sweet and tartedness. Nicely carbonated - as with most Jodoin products - yet not a lot of flavour. The carbonation however is wildly exciting and worth the $17.99 price tag. Pinkish, clear, lightly sparkling. Dryish crabapple nose. Woody, sweet with wet cave notes. Rocky dryness. Distinctive palate, initially sweet and floral, developping rosewater reminiscent flavors. A bit on the sweet side, but great overall balance if a bit short-flavored. Light bodied, good sparkling body. Great stuff. muzzlehatch (4950) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 25, 2005
Sample at the ciderhouse, RBSG Sunday cider tour. Pink-peachy color with nice visible fizzing bubbles...light, fresh nose with a hint of yeast...lovely sweet/dry body, expertly balanced...dry apple skins to finish, nice sparkling mouthfeel, a delight on the whole. willblake (2654) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 21, 2005
07.10.05 Bottle, RBSG tour. Pale pink. Light dry and tart. Very astringent. Hints of berry crisp (the pastry). Higly effy. Complex dances between sweet and dry, some basement, some must. Beautiful. tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2005
SSharp, tannic, musty, apple aroma is fresh and appealing. Clear, rosé coloured body with low, fizzy, white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Musty, tart apples with some leafiness and woody tones. Some soft sweetness emerges at the end of the short, sharp flavour. Sparkling, effervescent mouthfeel tantalizes the tongue. Bottle sampled at the orchard tasting room on the RBSG’05 cider tour.

Light blush body with spritzy carbonation.
Light apple aroma. Apple aroma and flavor are much more thinned out in this than they should be. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 26, 2005
Pours a sparkling pinkish copper color. Mild aroma of apples. The flavor is sweet with apples but then again the apples are kind of mild, the flavor isn’t crisp but feels like old apples, maybe it’s a characteristic of Geneva apples. The carbonation is really strong and helps a lot to appreciate the cider. MartinT (9795) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 16, 2005
Again those Geneva apples, this time in the Pédoncule line of sparkling ciders...Aroma is not its best feature, and the watery pink appearance does not attract me as well...Lightly sweet pomegranate notes melds with the Geneva apple pulp...Ample carbonation seems to help the flavor cohesion, this is pretty interesting... Pink-copper colour. Very spritzy. Fresh apple aroma with some light tannins. Sweet & sour character. A little bit of rotten character though. This roughness and the overt tartness without accompanying complexity makes it a tough one to get into.
