Pours dark black with a nice head. Aroma is sweet honey, chocolate and smoke. Ah ghost stories by the campfire. The flavor is a bit too smokey, think they went a bit heavy on the tea. Honey and chocolate are there along with marshmallow but they are hard to pick out over the smoke. Overall not bad.
750ml bottle rbsg pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose has a lot going on roasted marshmallow peppers spice some pit fruit very interesting. Taste is just as interesting with more of the spice sweetness. Very fun to try. stevoj (5427) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 1, 2017
RBSG 17 grand tasting. Expecting a smoked beer from the label, and instead found a nice sweet, savory braggot. Pit fruit, , savory spice, some vanilla too. Toasted marshmallows? Wonderful creamy feel, mild warmth, plums and melon. Slick and slippery. douglas88 (9569) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2017

Bottle that I have rotted for a while unfortunately. Pours quite black, reddish and clear, small beige head, disispates fairly quickly to a ring with minimal lacing. Aroma is sharp, honey and tea dominate, cocoa present as well. Flavor is medium sweet, honey, light bitterness, black tea, oak tannin. Not getting coconut, but that may be a casualty of time. Medium body, low carbonation. Interesting for sure. jtclockwork (17070) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 18, 2015
