Cigar City / Green Bench Sgt. Pfeffer Brown Ale seems to be a beer that was designed for the occasional beerdrinker instead of the aficionado. Light malt aroma coming from a dark pour with a thin head. Sweet malty taste; not much complexity. Sgt. Pfeffer Brown is an average beer that might be a good introduction to craft beer for the macro drinker.

On tap at Riverside Cafe, Ft lauderdale, pours a dark black opaque color. Nose is malty with chocolate notes.Taste is sweet and malty as well and flavorful. Finishes smoothly, nice brown ale.
