An imperial sweet stout brewed with cherries and cacao nibs, which is then aged in bourbon barrels. This beer is brewed in collaboration with Mikkeller our generous friend from Copenhagen, Denmark. What you have here is a modest attempt to emulate the experience of biting into a chocolate-covered cherry candy. We hope you enjoy it but you never know what youre gonna get.

Overall a tad too sweet for me but damn this is still delizh.

Bottle. Been sitting on this one a while and finally brought it out for a share. Pours opaque black with minimal head, what there is is dark brown with some lacing. Aroma is chocolate, cherry, coffee, vanilla and light bourbon. Flavor is REALLY sweet, chocolate covered cherries in a caramelized vanilla bourbon glaze. Full body, creamy mouthfeel but truly diabetes in a bottle.

Much less sweet than I imagined it would be. Nicely balanced beer with a good chocolate character. Not incredible but very good.

Black blacker blackest pour with very quickly dissipating tan foam. Aroma of soy sauce, barrel, some spirit, booze, choc; smells sweet. Taste is wow...lots of oak and vanilla! Almost too much vanilla! Quite sweet with some bourbon. Motor oil quality on palate with a lovely inky quality - not thin but also not full bodied. Overall, not a classic by any means but great fun to drink - just a nice sweet stout.

Ive been sitting on this bottle since beechner224 sent it to me, glad I waited. Pours dark, thin khaki head that fades fast. Nose has a strong bourbon barrel presence, chocolate, vanilla. Taste begins sweet, bitter baking chocolate, sweet cherries, and a nice bourbon oak and vanilla. Slight smokey ness muddled in the mix but very much in the hinter ground. Body is slick and creamy, a little thin feeling but makes it very drinkable.
