COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale brewed with Curacao peel.

Sometimes a lot isn’t nearly enough. For the times when a lot plus a bit more is called for we proffer the 110K+OT series. This 5th iteration is a 25 OF, 5 FG, 11% abv, 5 SRm sort of brew. If you don’t know what all that jargon means the gist of this is; it’s more than you deserve. A lot more. And a little more than that too

Hazy and murky amber pour with an off white head. Aroma was malty and resin hops. Tasty is sweet caramel malts with some citrus zest. Not a lot of DIPA, as the hops are light.

This poured a semi cloudy orange color with a beige cover. Aroma was orange peel, other light spices, caramel, and wheat. Flavor was very sweet, wheatwine like, no indication this was ever a DIPA, certainly more of a barleywine/ASA. Nothing too interesting and a bit too cloying for me.

22oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours amber with a sizable white head. Tastes like a barleywine, with malt, fruit and toffee flavors. Pretty good but very sweet.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2012 Bottle... Poured dark, hazy amber/reddish with an eggy head. Nose was resinous with hops citrus, and earthy spices. thick mouthfeel and full bodied. Borderline hoppy barleywine here with mouthfeel. Burnt cereal-like sugars with a big sweetness. Bitter rind-like and orange zest.

750 with John, Ryan, and Eddie. Thanks again man! Poured a deep amber with an off-white head. Smell is vanilla, figs, slight grapefruit, prunes, and brown sugar. Taste is raisins, caramel, vanilla, grapefruit, and toffee with a strong bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium with soft carbonation. If you approach this beer as an American style barleywine it is very enjoyable. Definitely not a DIPA, still tasty.

A - pours orange amber with 1 finger fluffy white head with little lacing. S - strong malty aromas up front. Fruity and grainy. Candied citrus fruit and dark dried fruit. M - very heavy bodied with a thick and chewy mf. Syrupy and sweet to a dry sticky bitterness. T - heavy muddled candied citrus fruit and dark dried fruits up front. Strong sweet malts move to a dry grassy bitterness. O - too heavy handed to be great. Overly sweet , tacky even. Malt heavy. 6

Bottle. Similarly off the mark as Batch #3. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are of tangerine, unfermented wort, iced tea, caramel, boozy, and quite sweet. Light marmalade. Not a lot of hops. Flavors are quite sweet, like southern sweet tea, cloying even. Herbal and boozy, kind of bad to be honest. Sticky sweet, thick, medium bubbles. Tastes sweet even for finishing at 5*p.

The aroma is sweet and alcoholic with licorice, spice, fruit, and caramel malt. The appearance is orangish tan with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it's interesting.

Very heavy aroma with lots malty and syrup flavor. Very strong hops with pine but it’s. Not over powering but it’s very strong. One of the best.
