Very hoppy and peach like aroma. Semi spicy but fruity up front. Definite hops to finish. Very unique ipa but has a lot going on. I’m pretty impressed. alexsdad06 (10784) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2012
750 ml bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange color with a medium sized off white/light yellow head that disappears quickly. The aroma had sweet caramel, citrus, orange peel, earthy hops, and some alcohol. The flavor had a big caramel malt sweetness, citrus, spicy hops with very mild bitterness at the back. This was full bodied, sticky and syrupy. Some alcohol at the finish. I don’t know if this will get better with age, since batch 3 didn’t. Rosebud butternuts (2408) - Denton, Texas, USA - JUL 24, 2012
bottle thanks to kiefdog. poured a nice amber/orange with a nice nearly off white head that left some lacing behind. aroma was citrus, caramel, orange, and some slight fingernail polish. flavor had all of the same aspects of the nose. body was full and sticky with low-medium carbonation. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Pour out of 750 mL bottle is slightly hazy orange red with thin to almost no white to off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel and toffee, some nice orange, zesty grapefruit, spice, some tropical mango, touch of spice, some more sweet sugars in there as well, with a slight hint of bitter grass. Taste is sweet orange, caramel and toffee, some slight bitter peel and lemon, touch of grass and spice, some more sweet sugary malts, finishing fairly sweet, slightly bitter. No heat, but this is a fairly simple brew. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Aroma of bittet orange peel notes to start some citrus and tropical notea a little floral. Then sweet residual sugars. Pours hazy orange nice head. Flavors of bitter orange nice fruity hops and a good amount of strong residual sugars. Kibd of slick and sweet a little too much so. But i enjoyed the initial flavors. It would be nice if it was dried out a bit. Oh well.

Bottle shared at Tkrjukoff’s CCB-day in Sätila. Pours dark golden with a small beige head. Hoppy malty aroma, some alcohol. Sweet malty taste, pretty low bitterness. To malty and sweet... Tmoney99 (14952) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured clear copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy, citrus, floral hop aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation and soft alcohol bite at the finish. Standout brew. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 16, 2012
Bottle... Clear orange ale with small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Aromatically, the orange peel really stands out, adding an interesting twist to interwoven notes of brown sugar, caramel, toffee and floral hops. Full bodied and velvety with modest carbonation. Well-balanced flavor. Super malty and fruity flanked by a bounty of tasty hops. Finishes fruity and bittersweet with lingering bitterness. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Bomber. Pours dark, burnt orange with one-finger off white head. Nose is banana, a bit of tropical fruit, cane sugar. Taste: a surprise. Decent hop presence, but almost overwhelmed by the sweet caramel malts. Bit of apricot, raisin. Slightly prickling mouth feel, bitter finish. Not what I expected from the label. Not a IIPA, but perfectly serviceable as a left-of-center barleywine.
